watkins Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 #1 buy a clymers manual #2 have you tried adjusting the clutch lever on the bars? You may need to pull the clutch cover and inspect the clutch, but first I would make sure you are adjusted correctly at the clutch lever. Quote
msprouse Posted April 13, 2006 Author Report Posted April 13, 2006 I tried udjusting the cable with no luck so I pulled the cover and found thst one of the clutches was way out of wack so I loosened the bolts over the springs and straightened it out. now I can't get the damn clutches to slide back on to the splines, the basket goes over and all the way back but the clutches won't go on all the way. I notices there are some washers inside the basket that are just wabbling around, could this be why thay are not lining up? Quote
batoutofshell Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 if they are rubber get rid of them and put your clutch back together and try to adjust if that doesn't work get a new cable its stretched that is what i did same problem Quote
