wesw Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 (edited) ok i bought this caliper for a guy on hq. the rubber bushing were trashed. so icall the dealership up. they say there is only 1 bushing for them. i argue get nowhere so im thinking they might be the same parts. i get 2 of the bushings. i think they go on the hex allen bolt with the grooves. but how do you get them in there, and get the bolt thru the bushings, and get the bolt in the caliper. ive tried almost everything i can think of. and they little stud type bolt there is a bushing for that. dealership doesnt have a clue. anyone know where to get this crap adn how to put them together. im about to get the welder out and make it solid!!!! Wicked98Shee Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 i had my rear caliper apart this past winter and man those little rubber sleeves are a straight up bitch to get back in .. i used some grease from the mufler and brake shop cause its for brakes lol .. but it was a pain to gettem back together, i slid em on the retaining bolts and used a pick to gettem in place ... had a headache by time i was done but it woked lol Quote
