I just got off jury trial about 5 months ago. When we went to deliberation I had to explain the hole freakin trail over again to some of the flippin morons, they just didn't get it. I think people need to have at least a HS diploma (minus the special ed stamp) before being selected for JD. Good luck to ya FH I feel your pain.

the only time they meet the panel of jurors is before the trial. they probably had a panel of approx 40 to 50 poeple to choose from and they still couldnt get a fair and impartial jury.

 

you wouldnt believe what goes on in a trial. our system tries to hard to make sure the guilty get a fair trial . sometimes at the expense of the victum.

i think the whole "racism" thing has as much life as we all give it. i hate to add a negative tone to this post...when i should be putting my effort towards being optimistic...but i think that racism will exist as long as there are segregated events. i won't give examples, but i'm sure u guys know wat i mean.
