shee13 Posted March 29, 2006 Report Share Posted March 29, 2006 i have a 1998 banshee with pipes,coolhead,proflo the first clutch went and i went with a barnett clutch,and she is slipping again bad wide open throttle it revs and seems like its not goin like it should u shift threw the gears and its like you didnt even shift.is there a better clutch to go with? NickyPap Posted March 29, 2006 Report Share Posted March 29, 2006 long shot but oh well, how about your rear hubs? Are your splines stripped? I have the same clutch and she bites hard. usually adjustment. pull the cover off and check around. recently mine was hanging up. come to find out that the circlip that goes on the end of the counter shaft holding the idler gear flew off.
