Polish Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 (edited) this might sound OLD FASHION.......and ill prob get ragged on..........But I polished each indavidual part with mothers polish and a tooth brush............I then used a soft rag to work in the polish.........and finally used a different clean rag to buff it..........it took a lot of time.........but my frame was getting worked on so i had plenty of time.......and it looks to answer your question..........harbor freight.......... ClimbAnyHill Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 For all you d-i-y polishers, what grinder/buffer do you use? Where did ya get it/wheres a good place to find one? I used Nevr Dull on the Toomey's & ITP's. Cordless drill, the POWERBALL [highly recommend] adapts right into the drill. Glass reflection 2 minutes!! Quote
awesomeame Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 i use a porter-cable variable speed/random orbit buffer/polisher. works great, i used it on my vette no problems. i think it ran about $250. most hardware type stores carry them. --matt Quote
