Mullet Man Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 this is just for my own information. so dont flame about dynos and HP #'s and all that jazz, i iam well aware how they work, what they are for and why etc. just curious what are the limits of the shee's power WITHOUT overboring, stroker crank or nitrous.? looking for max power potential info from bolton stuff without miachine work being involved or drag pipes (inframes only). odaen Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 bolt on only....no porting etc....... with gas, probably around 50HP from bolt-ons (pipes, cool head with smaller dome volume, timing advance, reeds, air filter) Quote

Tim C Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 Cheetah Cubs can be a bolt on and can easily get 70hp without a stroker crank. Heres a link to a 350 Cub on making 93hp w/gas http://www.planetsand.com/ubbthreads/showf...0/page/1#402196 Quote
odaen Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 that had some "machining" done to it to get 93HP But, yeah, didn't even think about the cub cylinder as a bolt on, and I have one. Quote
. Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 stock is about 37 hp pipes are a modest 10 cool head with domes 2 reed cages another 2 carbs ....... 2 timing probably about 3 with a bunch of the other mods done air filter another 2 All said and done with a bunch of tweaking and such you should be able to get at least 60 out of the engine (accounting for using cpi's when they hit their hp numbers) I know my LRD's are 9 across the rpm band and a peak of 16 above stock.
