banshee122386 Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 (edited) I have a 1996 Yamaha Banshee and I rode it for a half hour the other day, and the next day I go to start it and nothing......Spark plugs are new, Gas is new, carbs were just jetted, Carbs are clean, no TORS, what the hell is wrong with this thing? Ok now it will start but it runs really rough... It feels like one of the cylinders doesn't kick on unless I gun it what is goin on? Edited March 23, 2006 by banshee122386 Quote
batoutofshell Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 pull your plugs check for spark, if no spark check the coil for spark if no spark check the stator, if no power its the stator Quote
trex banshee Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 yeh that would be a good start but if you do have spark then make sure it is getting fuel. make sure air filter isn't completely clogged either. try these few things and let us know how it went! Quote
sheefreak Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 You didn't put your emergency brake on did you? If so, this will prevent it from running. Quote
