it may be a time for pistons, but maybe only rings, if the pistons and cylinders aren't worn much.

Stupid ? guy's i was thinkin a cheetah but everyone told me to have it ported with a 4mm crank so i might go that way not sure. Any input. Thank's Nik

yah that would be a very good start and cost about half the price gonna need to go with an aftermarket head or mill ur stock one to fit gonna also need sum bigger carbs and better reeds of course would help alot

I am not really sure. I saw it skwirt out the spark plug once but it poor's right out and i cant get it to see it.

Sounds like more than a gasket leak then...But I dunno, what other problems were you having?

I would definately say pull the head off, and check out the cylinders. if they are F*cked then just get some 4 mil cubs if you want to be really fast!

 

But remember you might need a new clutch and pipes and head to go with the cubs.

 

Nothing wrong with just porting and new 4 mil crank though. Just remember you have to get it ported for the new crank, it has to be pored for the 4 mil stroke and you will need some head work.

It dont pour out the spark plug's i saw it squert out once. Just a little bit. But my brother said i might need top end gasket's. His snowmobile did the same thing he had to bring it some place and they did something to it cause like 40 buck's and he put new top end gasket's and she was mint. I will have a cheetah someday :bolt:

Id go the ported 4 mil stroker way and get a nossmachine cool head (tell him that you have a 4mm storker). It comes with o-rings to replace the stock head gasket and cools alot better. Changing the head (stock to nossmachine) took me about 1hr and 45 mins the first time I did it. Pretty easy if you as me, I wouldent take it to a shop.

I might be getting a cheetah. Ill have to see what is goin on this summer for work. If my bro take's me first man i totely can. If not ill have to just fix the tranny. Nik

HaHa speaking of shop. My cuz 400 ex had a dead battery and his dad brong it to a harley shop they fixed the battery and put brand new stock tire's front and back. And it caust him 600 buck's . What a rip. Shit he could of got a 440 bigbore :rotflmao:

Then your tranny is going to be messed up again lol. That much power is going to wear it out alot faster than the stock jug 4 mil engine. The cheeta's are for drag only and your going to have to upgrade everything for those: carbs, reed cages, filters, pipes, heavy duty clutches maybe a lock up, and a hell of a swing arm.
