Very simple to do. It's probibly posted on the website where else but this it how we tell folks on some of the other boards I mod and admin on, and they seem to get it fairly quick.

#1 find your self an online image host like PhotoBucket or Image Shack and register an account with them. they're free for the basic accounts. I use Image shack meyself and have had no problems w/ them.

#2 upload you photos to your account useing the directions they provide.

#3 in your account homepage you should see all your uploaded images. select the one you wish to post and they should provide a code that should look like this(minus the *'s) "[*URL=http://imageshack.us*][*IMG*]http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/7777/05wickedblackred7sp.jpg[*/IMG*][*/URL*]

#4 Highlight the code you want( they usually give several codes for thumbnail images, websites, and hot links for forums which is what you'll want in this case.) and use "copy" (in the Right Click menu) to select it.

#5 go to the text area( your Signature or Message reply box) and use the "paste" (in the Right Click menu) to insert the code into the message.

if you do it right this (minus the *'s)= [*URL=http://imageshack.us*][*IMG*]http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/7777/05wickedblackred7sp.jpg[*/IMG*][*/URL*]

will look like this:

05wickedblackred7sp.jpg

Hope this helps ya. :D:D

hint: before you upload them to your web host, shrink the size down to between 5 & 600 pixels wide w/ the proportions setting checked so the height will match. they upload faster when compressed like that and they stay nicely in the screen when veiwed on a forum. you can do the shrink in what ever photo or paint program you have.
