any one ever heard of this?

has any one ever heard of the "iCat" it a small electronic device that goes between u'r coil and ur spark plug. its suposed to give u better spark and and give u more power and throttle responce.... I read about it in QUAD magazine and they tested it on a 450R and said it was awesome.... whats u'r oppinion???

How would that do anything, if its your coil that is triggered by the flywheel trigger, and its the coil that stores the energy for your spark plugs? Sounds like its one of those things like those magnets you put around your carburator for better atomization.

it's supposed to be like a more modern version of the "Roost Boost". but without the discharge delay the roost boost was notorious for. Personally I think it's just another case of "World's Greatest Fishing lure", designed to catch fishermen, not fish. I agree w/ rocketboy on this. get a Nology profire coil w/the HotWires. got one on my '01 and my 250R. the arc difference was like a match vs. a Mag light.

transworld mx mag tested it and said the i cat is a very good product and worked very good ,i put one on my cr 250, when i put it on i did alot of other work, i should take it off and see if i can tell diffrence .
