Since the carbs breath one at a time, having the pod filters is like having one pod with no air box, don't you think... now, what if the arbox in completly open, and I mean completly, that way you have both carbs brathing thru the same filter one at a time. And I think the single K&N has more filtering area then the pod filters. What do you think? Quote

Just pull the lid off the airbox and you should have the same gains IMO. 2 filters have more filtering area than 1 though so they might last a bit longer but I usualy clean mine every trip anyways. If I had the option to go with one big filter I would.... Quote
