I have never seen a "filter" for the crankcase. What are you talking about exactly? You sure you don't have an oil filter or something for a four stroke? Quote
Hilarious Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 (edited) The crankcase filter on a banshee attaches to the inlets on the carburetors. On the other hand, lets say my warrior, it has a crankcase vent. Looks like any filter with a 1/2" hose barb would fit on it. Edited March 9, 2006 by Hilarious Quote

The filters, or filter, that mounts to the inlet of your carburetors filter the air that goes into your engine. There are no other filters, that I am aware of on a banshee. Fastrat Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 So you'd be talking about your air filter/filters. Man, that all depends on your carbs. You gotta measure them to find out. That's the only filter I know of kid. Quote
Wallrat Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 You do have a crankcase vent. One hose comes out of the water pump area and the other is under the rear engine mount. These both go into a T fitting underneath your carbs and then a single vent line runs up under the gastank, and over the frame behind the radiator. Technically you could put a filter on this but I've never heard of anyone doing it. Quote
