jet kits

I just got my silencers in yesterday and I'm supposed to get my pipes by saturday. My Q is which jet kit to get when its time. I looked on e-bay for the dyno kit, which is what Yamaha sells and there were stage 1, 2, 3. What the hell? All three said they were for moderately tuned bikes. All i'lll have are fatty pipes, turbine cores, k&n air filter and snorkel removed. Its 60 right now and gets to the high 90's, sometimes 100, in summer. What am i looking for? Thx for any help you can offer.

IMO, you should just pick up some extra main jets and maybe some pilot jets. That is all you need to rejet for mods. If you give more info, like your elevation, the guys on here are pretty good and could give you a ballpark of where you need to be. And you can go from there.

thx moore. my elev. is 408 ft......what sizes will be pretty close?

try a main in the area of a 300-340. if it still wants to cut out on you try bumping your pilot to a 27.5

Start at 300's 27.5 pilot, and move clip down one position on the needle. I ran 330's w/no lid and same pilot and clip, bike ran great.

ya call up a local dealer or quad shop. they're only a dollar or 2 a pc neway. the pilots may be more but i'm not sure. i runa different carb then u. why wait for ebay when u can drive 15 mins to get what u need! good luck man and welcome to the HQ !

sheefreak, thx for the help. i was about to go down to yamaha and pay 85$ for a jet kit. Good lookin out. All I need to buy then are the jets and pilots and i can use everything else stock?
