race-a-holic Posted February 26, 2006 Report Posted February 26, 2006 I was told it was for a banshee.I bought it before I measured to see what I needed. Please measure to see if it's what you need before you buy it.It measures 11 1/2 inches.I have $185 invested.Make an offer and please keep it reasonable. race-a-holic Posted February 26, 2006 Author Report Posted February 26, 2006 If I don't get really close to what I have invested,it's ebay bound.Would rather sell here though. Quote

[email protected] Posted February 26, 2006 Report Posted February 26, 2006 few questions about marvin shaws , i never used them or understanded how they worked. How do you increase the stiffness of the shock and is it 11 1/2 at the max setting ? Is it possible to do without the shock linkage with this shock because that is what i have planned Quote
race-a-holic Posted February 26, 2006 Author Report Posted February 26, 2006 This will be the first year I've used them too.I was told it was for a no link, but it's too short for the swingarm I had built. All that should matter is if it's long enough.Might need someone elses opinion though.I actually don't know much about them.Just that alot of the drag racers use them. race-a-holic Posted February 27, 2006 Author Report Posted February 27, 2006 Thanks for the info. Quote
JT5543 Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 Yeah the stiffness is controlled by the amount of nitrogen inside. The rebound is controlled by the internal valving (washer) which is pretty easy to modify if needed. The no link / link does not matter as long as the length is correct. They are real good shocks IMO. Quote
