left cylinder misfiring sometimes?

So took the shee to Glamis for pres day. I was very happy with it(minus the $70 in gas/oil i used up). Pulls really hard, fun through the dunes and fast on the hill.

However I noticed a few times that the left side wasn't firing all the time. Especially when I was part throttle or lugging her around a bit. I put 2 new iridum NGK's in before i even started it up(The B8ES's looked a little aged). I guessing I should maybe lean the left carb out a little since that plug looked kinda black. Any help is appreciated.

just had a prob with right side not firing turned out to be the reeds check that

Sure, check the reeds. There are a bunch more things it could be as well. Quite a few guys with left side misfires lately, lots of really good tips will come up with a search.

check the wires going to your coil,one could be alittle lose

sounds like a plugged pilot jet to me....I would start there...
