Well the fun could be over before it really even starts. I am in the middle of my banshee build and a offer has came along and I think i might just do it.

I came across a Polaris Scrambler 4x4 that has been just slightly modified. Ok J/K its been ALOT modified. It has a SkiDoo Summit 670 motor in it. For those not familiur with this motor, it is a liquid cooled 2 stroke twin cylinder 670cc motor that utlizes rotary valves. It is rated at 130hp STOCK. I have a 99 Summit 670 sled right now that is 150+hp.

So imagine this, a lightweight (for a 4x4) 4x4 that runs at 130hp with tons of torque, a wide powerband, no shifting gears, just gas and hold on. The Scrambler chassis isnt my favorite but there are some good upgrades that can be done that really make it a worth while machine. It does already have a +4 swingarm on it.

The reason I am thinking this will be a better quad for me is I do alot of mountain trail riding along with going to the dunes. Throw some paddles on her, disconnect the 4wd and I think it would be a mean mean quad on the dunes.

The best part is, I am in my Shee a total of $2500.00 and the guy want to trade me streight across for it. The reason being he cant pull start the 670 anymore due to a sholder injury and he has a employee that will buy my Shee. I guess the buyer has a Bruteforce for the Mtns and wants a all out dune machine for his second ride. Thw worst part is we will have to exxchange them over the canada border and that can be a real pain in the ass!

Check the for sale section, I need some parts quick!

that sounds like a fun 4x4 :D

That 670 is a sweet motor :headbang: It is one of my favorite sled motors.

Hell with that kind of power I wonder if you could put paddles all the way around like those 4x4 rails.

I thought about that. I might just have to go redneck for a day and try it!
