Sheeboy12 Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 I juss took 40 off the stock head, boost bottle, and reed spacers. (MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE) and i want to ensure my engine life. The plugs were always black. Now the right one is dark dark brown and the left is a good bit lighter brown. Could this have leaned out my bike. Do i need to rejet? Quote
hittintrees srh Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 i hope the machine work on your head was'nt too much, cuz the money you spent on the boost bottle and reed spacers was a total waist of money.. but yea the compression you added to your motor by milling your head probably will require more fuel.. try steppin your main up a little. banshee tuner Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 If those plugs are not the same color you created an air leak with the boost bottle or the reed spacers. Quote
Banshee17Racing Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 I don't know about more compression = more fuel. But if you didn't know already, you WILL have to run high octane fuel from now on. Quote
