pipes and jetting

im running tommey t6 with a k&n no snorkel airbox lid on and 12 1 inch air filter thing s that came with the tommet kit should i run the 280 main jet that it came with or go bigger to be safe i live in perth western australia Thanks Ian

Elevation? Temperature? 280 is prolly too small. Usually pipes and filter bumps u up into the 300-320 range, but it depends on elevation and temp.

with the lid on and temps above 80 f they should be ok, but I would still start bigger like 300-320. I don't know anybody that used the 280's. but i don't know anybody running with the lid on that hasn't been modified.
