Speedie Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 I'm thinking about buying this bike, but not sure if it's a worth it. It has the J-arms or else I'd already been on it. Is there any down side to j-arms? It's got the chrome +1 +2 j-arms, but still it's j-arms. It has after market cylinders, but it was a brand I never heard of. That's not saying anything, because I not just know the main ones. Cubs, T-rex, Vitos, etc. and it has an 8mm crank, it's 600cc and makes 97hp at the wheel. I'm just going by what he says I've never seen it. It has a lot of billet stuff on it too. What do you guys think is it a bargain at 6k or what should I offer him. Here's the link. http://www.auto-rv.com/default.asp?area=br...name=BIM3430254 Quote
mike23 Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 I've never had a problem with j-arms The j-arm frame is lighter than an a-arm frame and I think they ride better personally. Just my.02 $6,000 is alot of money for a bike with cylinders you've never heard of. I'd do some research first. Quote
Speedie Posted February 5, 2006 Author Report Posted February 5, 2006 So if you guys think 6k is to much for this bike then what would you give for it? Quote
suzuki0702 Posted February 5, 2006 Report Posted February 5, 2006 no doubt its in good condition...id probably give up no more than 4200 for it ...its still a two stroke..know what i mean? hope this helps..later Quote
rjvoight Posted February 5, 2006 Report Posted February 5, 2006 If he has documentation of his "over 15k invested" and can show you what has been done and when, then maybe. Even with that I think I would through between 4 and 5 at him depending on how good it looks in person. RJV Quote
