s-540 Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 the airstrikers have quad vents, the regular pwk have two. Quote
blueshee03 Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 the pwk's have better venting than pj's and idling is set with a screw in the side of the carb on the pwk's.the pwk airstrykers have 4 vents and they also have 2 fins in front of the slides that direct air drawn in directly over the main jet area and towards the needle to help atomize the fuel more.they are a little more touchier on the jetting than regular pwk's and pj's but are a little better performance carb than regular pwk's.pj carbs don't have as good a venting system that pwk's do and idling is set by turning the choke knob, which is about the only draw back with them.they can be a pain to keep the idling where you want it.pj's in my oppinion are an excellent carb for drag racing.expecially when they are converted to alky.
