Chips2000 Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 I want to add a rear skid plate and am wondering what would be recommended. I ride trails and sand. Thanks, Chips2000 Quote
Banshee~ Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 I have a dg fat series swing arm skid, it fits good and covers everything well. That is the only thing I have had luck with buying from dg. Quote
MILO Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 i've had my DG skids for about 4 1/2 years now, and can't complain. the chassis skid is in great shape, and the swinger skid, which takes the most beating on the trails has held up pretty well too. 1000% better than the pos stocker, that's for sure! BigRed350x Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 I had a DG on my warrior and broke the welds all the way around on the swinger skid in about a month. I won't buy any more of their stuff. I want to try those new polymer ones. Quote
Chips2000 Posted January 31, 2006 Author Report Posted January 31, 2006 I will look for the DG and also check out the polymer's. Where would I find these products? Thanks, Chips2000 Quote
Shee-Male Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 If you have access to a bandsaw and a tig welder you can make your own for about 20$...I did, have a template to. We need to get a do it yourself section on this site! Quote
chevyboy51 Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 .25" PRM or armadillo there indestructable. I had a DG on my old quad and ripped it off all the time not very tough. Quote
