Turbobanshee_kid Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 I just did alot of work done to my banshee engine i need to know what all my jets should be at. 2006 banshee carburetors with purple hoses. NOT PORTED 2005 banshee cylinders with STD'S wiseco pistons. 2006 wiseco crank it is welded to. 2006 Billet Hinson clutch basket. 2006 Ricky Stator flywheel. 2006 Ricky Stator 200 watt stator. 2005 Banshee head milled .40 over or 40 over. Timing plat set 5 or 7 d's forward I live at sea level. What should they be? Quote
2003LimitedBanshee Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 That's a nice collection of parts you've assembled, however, nothing you mentioned will really have a major effect on your jetting. The timing plate could cause you to need to go up one size, but possibly not either. Differences would come if you had your cylinders ported, changed pipes, possible reed changes etc. Quote
Turbobanshee_kid Posted January 23, 2006 Author Report Posted January 23, 2006 I have T-5's, reed spacers but with the stock reeds, but the stock reeds have that trick done to them. Quote
Turbobanshee_kid Posted January 24, 2006 Author Report Posted January 24, 2006 ????????????????????????????????????? Quote
2003LimitedBanshee Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 So did you have it jetted right before you installed the T5's, or are those new as well. No offense, but still the only thing that would affect jetting is the pipes. What type of air filter setup are you running and is this new as well? If you haven't done anything to effect the volume of air in or out of the cylinders there isn't really a need to rejet, assuming it was jetted right before. If all of this stuff (pipes etc.) is new, what is your elevation and temperature? That should give everybody a point to make recommedations from. Quote
Turbobanshee_kid Posted January 24, 2006 Author Report Posted January 24, 2006 Yeah i had those pipes before but my cylinders were ported and the new 2005's are not so the bike will not run right. Does that help? Quote
banshee tuner Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 So you replaced your old ported cylinders with new non ported cylinders? If this is the case and you are in florida run a 27.5 pilot, 300 main, and the needle clip 4th from the top. That should be very close. Quote
NEVER SATISFIED Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 yeah you'll need to down jet a lot... Quote
Turbobanshee_kid Posted January 24, 2006 Author Report Posted January 24, 2006 Would delta V-force 2's or 3's make a difference? I do have the stock reeds with that trick done to them. Quote
banshee tuner Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 Vforce does flow more than stock, but not as much as you did on your ported cylinders. The trick you speek of is it ported cages? Do you allready have jets? If you don't vito's has about every size and I would order several to get it just right. Quote
Turbobanshee_kid Posted January 25, 2006 Author Report Posted January 25, 2006 (edited) Does it come with all the tips of jets? What site can i get them off of? O yead i have 12, 1 and1/4inch holes in my airbow lid does that make a difference? Edited January 25, 2006 by Turbobanshee_kid Quote
banshee tuner Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 Vitosperformance.com is the site, do a search for it if that does not get you there. You have to select which jets you want and order them. I think they are 2.50 a peice. The holes in the airbox give you more flow, if you still have the stock filter I would highly suggest upgrading to save your engine. Quote
Turbobanshee_kid Posted January 25, 2006 Author Report Posted January 25, 2006 I have A K&N WITH THE outer wear and the pro flow thing. Can you guys name some of the jets sizes i should buy. Thank You for all your help guys! Quote
banshee tuner Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 As far as mains I would buy 300, 310, and 320's. Go ahead and buy some 27.5 pilots and that should have you covered. Quote
Turbobanshee_kid Posted January 25, 2006 Author Report Posted January 25, 2006 So i should get two 27.5 pilots and two of all of this mains 300, 310, and 320's. Quote
