rlm2268 Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 Hi, I have a stock stroke banshee that has welded crank, ported cylinders simular to trinity porting with boost port added, has a cut head, currently has stock carbs with k&n, It has toomey T3 pipes, would it be worth the money to go to a set of CPI's or shearers, ect. I use it for fast trail some drag and oval racing with friends. How would the power band of these pipes compare? Thank's Quote
locogato11283 Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 cpi or shearer are gonna be better pipes than the t3. the shearer lacks a little on bottom but pulls like crazy on top. cpi have a little more on the bottom and mid. sounds like youd be best off with cpi... Quote

rlm2268 Posted January 22, 2006 Author Report Posted January 22, 2006 It sounds like the t-3's are known to be a higher rpm pipe, so do you think there would be much for a low end loss in power switching to CPI or shearer from the t-3's ? Quote
rzcolobanshee Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 You'll gain lowend over the t3's they suck real bad Quote
