Dinner Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 (edited) I had a post like this in product review by accident, and i said i would count my teeth and i did...turns out i have 13/42 with 20 inch tires. Im thinking of going back to stock with the 20 inch tires. Do you think it will pull good with... -Boyesen Reeds -DG Pipes/Stock Silencers -K&N Filter W/O Lid -Bored to 364cc -Boost Bottle ...and could i even go to a 40 rear...im mostly riding roads and when i go trail riding and to the gravel pits, ill probably gear back down..thanks Edited January 13, 2006 by Dinner Quote
odaen Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 Front sprockets are cheap enough to try out, and going to a 14tooth, you probably won't have to alter the number of links in your chain. Try it out and see if your bike runs like you want. If it doesn't, yer only out 10 or 15 bucks. Might wanna keep on the lookout for some FMF, PC, or T5's in the for sale section. They should provide a decent gain over the DG's. Get your head shaved to bump your compression, get a timing plate, and a good air filter and you'll probably be around 45-50 HP. It'll be a whole new bike. Quote
