Rock-46 Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 I installed a set of PWK 28mm carbs, and I noticed the bottom of the left side carb hangs pretty low. There is a (for lack of a better word) nipple that is resting where the clutch cable hooks up. Is this going to be a problem? If so what do you guys to to fix it. Here is a crappy pic, but it should give an idea of what I'm talkin about. Anyone run into this issue before? Any help would be great! Quote
Shee-Male Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 Yup, get a pair of reed spacers. Quote
Polish Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 when I installed them i used a billit manifold that was thicker (or reed spacers would work)......which would make them stand back farther Quote
eehsnab2 Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 Yup, get a pair of reed spacers. 458365[/snapback] this is one of the times that reed spacers do serve a purpose... you can usually pick up a set on ebay for less the $20. Quote

Rock-46 Posted January 12, 2006 Author Report Posted January 12, 2006 Thanks for this info. Does anyone know if the dealer would carry the spacers? I was hoping to leave tomorrow for glamis. I'll start calling around today. Quote
