what kinda riding do you do? trails, drag mx?? cubs are a good start if you wanna go fast..they arent so great for tight trailsl tho. what kinda riding?

Yep, thinking that will be my next step. The other fairly common mods people will do is: advance timing, reeds (VForce 2 or 3's), you could ditch the stock airbox (but not if you ride in muck or much water), porting, maybe swap carbs if you have it ported, ignition, Noss head etc. etc.... But, like loco said a lot will depend on the type of riding you do.

I have T5 pipes k&n filter and would like to get more power out of my banshee. any suggestions I do have 1,000 to start and will save more if need be.

v-force $200, noss head $240, trinity cv intake w/35mmcarb used $250-350, eric gorr port $250+/-, ricky stator timing plate +4 degrees $35,

I think I spent all your money, that will be good all around power. strong from bottom to top. If you have a couple extra bucks get your flywheel lighten and shift star mod from boonman Around $100.

I ride mostly desert, I would like to start racing in the local desert races they have in my area. , I also go to Dumont a few times a year.

I would look into suspension if yuor going to race in the desert.
