JoshWht Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about why my Banshee will start on 1 or 2 kicks if I start it every day, but if I leave it for a few days to a week I can kick and kick and it will not start. Then, if I leave it and come back later in the day or even the next day, it will start right up. It seems like fuel, but I can't pin point what exactly is going on. Just another one of those Banshee headaches. Thanks, - Josh Quote
dawarriorman Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 Mines always been like that. Ive messed with the floats who knows how much, with no success, but Ive managed to figure out how get around it. When you park, turn off the gas and let it run for minute.. When you go to start it again, turn on the gas, shake it to mix up the gas, then let it sit for a couple of minutes. Starts up first kick every time. Quote
JoshWht Posted January 4, 2006 Author Report Posted January 4, 2006 I just wish I could isolate the problem and fix it once and for all. I would throw all kinds of money at it if I knew it would fix the problem. Nothing more irritating then wanting to go for a nice ride and kicking your leg off in the garage and ending up going no where. I will have to try running the fuel out and see if it makes a difference. Thanks for the input! - Josh Quote
Toybreaker Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 I would just tip my shee on its side until the overflows flowed freely for 15-20 second then it kicks over after 3-5 kicks for me. Quote
