badxr6 Posted December 16, 2005 Report Posted December 16, 2005 hi i live in australia so not shore on altatude etc. but i have some 35 keihin carbs which i just fitted and its a little to rich at idle has 155mains 35 pilot and needles on the top slot mods to the bike are pro design head 20cc domes pro circuit pipes reed spacers 2 stage reeds plus 5 timming pro design inlet maifold bored to 370 any help would be excellent Quote

Justintoxicated Posted December 17, 2005 Report Posted December 17, 2005 Sounds like too much carb for your mods... Even with porting you probably would not 35's unless you had a stroker. It will have alot less lowend with those large carbs than it had with the stock carbs. Quote

If you're not ported, those 35's may be too much carb for your setup. 448830[/snapback] its only rich at idle and if you cruze at low speeds soon as it hits power band it goes well and its not rich i have check the plugs after a straight line thrash it could proberly go up a size if i could drop the needle down one more slot if would fix it i beleve but it is already at the top slot and yes it is portted as well Quote
