ahh glad you made out ok. It ripped us a new one.. well where I'm at there is still debri and trucks going up and down the roads so mainly until stuff gets alot more cleaned up i got 3 acres of cruising room and plus i go on the street sometimes and really open her up lol :shootself:

My friend told me about some saw dust piles near by and also there is tons of open area around.. I also was told there is some places near by with tons of sand to go riding. I just bought my atv not a month ago about, after katrina.

When I have time and get done doing a little more stuff to my bike i'm gonna start checking out those places.

Obviously I was just being a smart-ass.

I washed the 'Shee last night when I got back from riding, and started it front of the garage to dry it off. The late evening breeze took that wonderful scent through the whole house. I love the smell of Bel-Ray in the morning!

Banchetta had it right: Aftermarket pipes and synthetic oil @ 40:1 or better would make a big difference in the amount of smoke.

Only sand I've seen down there is at the beach. Where is this sandy place your

friend speaks of? And is it public or private land?

I'd believe ya if u said that you had sand inside your house. There

was some serious shit that came through there. I hate to hear about anyone

losin all their stuff, houses, cars..whatever. Good to hear that people survived

this thing and are gettin on past it, unlike some of the mf's that were in NO (plenty

of other threads on that).

Arent there still people livin in tents and eatin MRE's?

Anyway , back on topic, good luck with your not smellin like 2 stroke exhaust. :P

Man, last thing I wanna do is lecture anybody bout helmets but, you seriously ought

to at least give it some thought bout gettin your self a brain bucket (helmet) before you

put those pipes on. :bolt:

I dont know how the Gnarleys are but the fmf fatties I have are a tad far from stock

performance. Hope you got some jets to go with all that stuff. :shrugani:

Update your pics when you get all that stuff on. The more and more I see Fullbore plastics, the more and more I wanna get myself a set.
