will my banshee pull the 16/40 sprocket config. with toomey t6 pipes, and mild top end shaving?

I think it might be a little tough on that engine if you don't have any other mods. Is there a particular reason you want to go that tall on your gearing?

I run that off and on, not sure if it'll pull it easily without porting. As long as you don't need a new chain to try it you should try it and see, it'll only cost you sprockets.

i want to run 16/40 cause down here in miami we really dont do alot trail riding.. so everyone fixes their bikes for top end.. but i've been hearing alot of people saying that i should do a port job.

I run 16/41 which is less gear than that, I have porting with CPI's and shaved head and it runs great....Banshee's like to rev high, too much gear could slow you down...seems abit much for T6 without porting, 15 on the front with the 40 rear should be real nice....

If you get your jugs ported, you should be able to run that 16/40 gearing with no problems. But, if you decide to get porting, you might want to think about getting some different pipes. T6's were designed to give maximum performance with a stock port engine. Even Toomey says they do not react that well with porting; you would be better off with T5's
