face_off Posted November 16, 2005 Report Posted November 16, 2005 hi all and did any boddy used the msd coil with 8.5mm wire on stock banshee ignition with aftermarket CDI ? and how do the msd coil compaire to nology coil ? they said on MSD website that the coil preduce 30.000 volt is this true ! i have the msd coil and i will try it today and compar it to stock coil . fast500#12 Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 i think that the number is there whole ignition system and if you don't plan on just drag racing that system wouldn't be a good idea it removes the stator and runs off a battery that is good for about two hour with several hour charge time in between.
