I would love to have some sponsors.....cuz they help you out right? Im guessing by paying entrance fees....but then why do people have 10 different sponsors? Will some sponsors kick down gear or parts? How should I go about getting some local sponsors....and what should I expect from them? thanks for the info..... iceman Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 go to the local shops around you and ask if they will sponsor you. they might pay your entrace fees if you have a good resume. they might give you a discount on parts. or you can email companies and race shops your resume and they might give you a discount on parts. you probably wont be getting any free stuff. I know a pro racer who still has to pay for a lot of stuff. you dont really get a bunch of free stuff until you start winning in the pro class. Quote

bansheefreestyler Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 ya man. got well over 10 races planned for 06. the majority mx but a couple ax and one xc. i could of raced on the 4th and 5th but i had to help my dads buddy move from one city to another so I wasnt able to. plus the race was 3 hours away and the roads were bad. but as long as everything goes well for me ill be tearing it up in 06. I am training for it to by riding as much as i can and doing a workout every day Quote

So far, I got SIDEWINDER, TEAM ALBA, M2R, HAZARDOUS SPORTS, and more to come. Now Im just havin fun. thanks guys...and good luck racin. Remember....if your racing....You've already WON! tru dat... I started just to see how Id place. But the people involved with the sport are killer. Ive had so much fun, I cant imagine not racin. ohhh....Hiper....I didnt send them one.
