I just bought a banshee about 2 weeks ago. I got a loan. I'm a senior in high school and I've wanted a banshee since I was in the 7th grade cause that's all I heard about from my buddies. Anyways, heres my question, my bike is pretty much stock. All it has is Toomey T-5's. My buddy has a 05 yfz with an ESR pipe. Who should come out on top in a drag? Just based on the bike, not the rider.

On dirt, you will get smoked. Sorry, but the 4 strokes just hook up better and you'll be left at the starting line spinning your tires. Launch in the highest gear that you can. I usually start in 2nd or 3rd. Sometimes 4th if on dusty hardpack.

Now if you can drag on pavement, or in the sand with paddles, you might be able to beat him.

I agree. My YFZ is faster off the line than my Banshee on our gravel roads, only for a gear though. Once I hit third or fourth I will blast past it. On the sand my shee will eat my YFZ alive.

Whew!! I hadn't seen a "will my bike beat his bike" post in at least three hours. I was starting to think the world was coming to an end.

Just go race and find out.
