bansheefreak Posted October 23, 2005 Report Posted October 23, 2005 ride it like you stole it.. but try to let it cool down some before you just shut it off which most ppl normally do.... Quote
bansheefreestyler Posted October 23, 2005 Author Report Posted October 23, 2005 k but no full throttle right or like if i do only for a couple seconds? and ya i do let it cool down before i shut it off. but thatll actually be ok if i ride it like i normally would? like its brand new i dont want to screw this thing up so im a bit worried Quote
bansheefreak Posted October 23, 2005 Report Posted October 23, 2005 after you ride it few times and let it cool down you can go full throttle... i wouldchange the oil sometime this week thou after you get a few hrs on it... Quote
locogato11283 Posted October 23, 2005 Report Posted October 23, 2005 do a couple heat cycles on it..let it sitand idle for about 5 mins and then vary the throttle a little bit and then let it idle some more...let it cool all the way off and then do itagain for about 10 or 15 mins...then ride the piss out of it..thats how i did mine and its been almost 2 years with no rebuild..very minimalpower loss at that..and i know you arent gonna be riding it like i do..dealership says every 6 months do a rebuild if u ride the piss out of it... bansheefreestyler Posted October 23, 2005 Author Report Posted October 23, 2005 hey will taking the baffle out ruin anything in the short or long term? or is it just made to lower dbs? or whats the purpose of it? Quote
bansheefreak Posted October 23, 2005 Report Posted October 23, 2005 it will allow the motor to breath and run better... instead of restricting the exhaust... Quote
bansheefreestyler Posted October 23, 2005 Author Report Posted October 23, 2005 but it wont wreck it in the long or short term? thats all it does is restrict the air flow for lower dbs right? Quote
