quad4me Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 I ordered all the needed parts to rebuild the lower Steering stem stuff from Xtreme power sports website. I got everything and went to put it in....the bearing out of my bike was much smaller in diameter. The inner and outter sizes were way off. The part number was 93306-20348-00...that is the NEW part number. The orig part number is93306-20331-00 >>you can see that yamaha has these 2 numbers listed for the same item. Anyone have any ideas why the new bearing was bigger?? I ordered everyhing and double checked it all....that is the right part # for a 1998 banshee. Quote
quad4me Posted October 13, 2005 Author Report Posted October 13, 2005 Coulda been! Oh...and the old bearing was sealed top and bottom...the new one was open on one side. luckily the old one was just loose from the retainer ring backing off and I could use it again. Quote
Ryda85 Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 the ones i bought from ebay were sealed on both sides and fit right in. got them for like 20 bux with seals Quote
