Can I use some brake parts from bashee ona warrior

I just got a 1997 warrior and need to get some parts. I was wandering if parts from a banshee would work as they are close to the same on a lot of stuff... so I've been told.

 

I think I will need to get a caliper, pads, rotor and possibly an axle.

 

If some of these parts will work which ones and what years of banshee should I be looking at?

y not just get warrior parts?? however im sure that most if not all of that is interchangeable...

I've got a 99 warrior along with my banshee and I can tell you that some of the parts are different on each. I know for a fact that the disc rotor on the banshee is of smaller diameter. Im not sure on the axle and caliper. I'll check it out for ya this afternoon in exchange for a cold 6 pack of coronas

I'm planning to buy these parts either on ebay or from someone on here so I would like to find out which parts are interchangable that way I can know what to look for. A lot of people list stuff for banshee's and not for warriors but if they are interchangable then I have a better selection to buy from.

Im usually willin to help a kracker out.

 

I know the carrier bearings are different. I just recently changed em out on both bikes. so the axle is different. I believe the caliper is the same but mounts closer to the swingarm because of the difference in the diameter of the rotors. It be later this even so please be patient.

Okay, kracker. Looks to me that the only thing similar would be the caliper. Like I typed in the other post, brake rotors are different. Everything else is different too. Now......here's a far fetched idea, and if you go this route and it doesnt work don't get pissed at me (disclaimer) but.... it looks as if you could mount a carrier from a banshee to the warrior's swing arm. The only thing that looks identical is the caliper. I'd take all my shit apart again for ya and put the x-ray microscope and shit on it but, god damn was it a bitch to take apart. Sorry if I wasnt much help.

ive done this, the axle housing wont, the hubs will, and everthing else should. i just tried the housing b/c i royally F**ked it up on my buddy's 03, so i know for a fact it wont fit
