I have 3 sets of domes for my 4mm and I'm gonna do a dyno run at each of the compressions. Give me a few days to get it here. I'm also gonna compare CPI/Shearers/T5's as well as stock/30pwk/35pwk carbs. I've wanted to see dyno runs like this for some time now. As soon as my builder gets some 10mm cubs from Calvin, I'll be rdy to go on this. Quote

2003LimitedBanshee Posted October 11, 2005 Report Posted October 11, 2005 Sounds like the definitive answer should be coming... but going with smaller domes, means higher compression, and in every scenario I've ever heard of more compression = more power Quote
blueshee03 Posted October 11, 2005 Report Posted October 11, 2005 thanks looking for the reply..........my bike was currently dynoed at 71 HP.....with 22cc domes......4mm....longrod.... blaster pistons.......T5s....34mm PJs i'm running a stock crank ,grr pipes ,35 airstrykers,k&n's,fastline ignition and a big reed conversion with a reworked stock head with 175 lbs compression and i'm putting out more horses than most 4 mil strokers.it was dynoed in 1997 when the work was done and it was putting out 75 hp and 48 ft lbs of torque on gas and 87 hp on alky.that was with 34pj's and t5 pipes and stock ignition.with very little work i could be closer to 90-95 hp rangeon gas.
