What exactically do you mean by getting your head ported? I was under the impression that your cylinders are where the porting takes place. Do you mean shaving your head to increase compression? I don't believe you would need to change jetting for an increase in compression but, you would need to change jetting for port work due to the increase of fuel mixture in and exhaust out of the combustion chamber. :shrugani:

What kind of pipes are you running? What is your elevation, air temp? When you say you've done a filter, have you totally removed the airbox, still have the box w/no lid, full lid no snorkel, or totally stock box w/lid and snorkel? All of these are factors that will affect getting the jetting spot on. Once we know this we can give you a better idea.

I would go up a few sizes on the mains to start w/ and check your plugs after a wot run in 6th gear. You might even want to go up a size on the pilots. See how it starts after the porting. If it seems to start hard then go up a size.
