NYCBanshee7 Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 I have LSR +2+1 A-arms with YFZ Shocks. Can anyone move and reweld the mounts to make the shocks work better? Sanddragon??? Quicksand??? Thanks, Eric Quote
sanddragon2004 Posted September 23, 2005 Report Posted September 23, 2005 If you wanted to cut up your LSR a arms, you could move the mounts out 3/4" but you may run into clearance issues with the top arms. If you are comfortable doing it you could easily run them with great results and no geomtry issues. We make ultra cross arms to work with the 450 shocks too. Quote
Bansheeboy0420 Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 Me and a friend just got done putting 450 shocks on his 98 and all we had to do is grind down the frame on the front side of the upper mount to clear the top of the shock body. Also I bet not too many people know that 450 twin piston calipers fit right on the stock banshee spindles. Anyone want to stop as fast as they can accelerate!!! It's nice to grab the brakes on a shee and actually feel something there. I know lots of secrets about the banshee if anyones intrested. Quote
