y2kbanshee9187 Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 (edited) I am at school right now. There is no Yamaha dealership down here. I am trying to get a nut for the shee. heres a link. http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/parts/home.aspx It is the one on the end of the A-arm just to the left of #35 on the bottom. It is the nut that goes on that bolt on the end. It has the slots in it for the cotter pin to go through. Any ideas on how to get it? I couldnt find it there on the Yamaha site. Well damn, I cant get it to go directly to the site but its a 2000 banshee and its under front suspension wheel. Edited September 17, 2005 by y2kbanshee9187 Quote
MudSlinger09 Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 www.bikebandit.com they got diagrams and stuff Quote
Wallrat Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 That's called a castle nut. There's most likely a hardware store in your area with a bolt shop. They'll carry metric size nuts and bolts. Do a little searching thru your phonebook, then call around. Quote
Gargamel Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 what Wallrat said^ I have better luck finding this kind of stuff at like a true value, not home depot type stores. Quote
dogboystoy Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 Use Mc Master Carr, order from them, you will get it within a day or 2, cheap shipping and they sell everything you could imagine. http://www.mcmaster.com/ and serach for a metric castle nut. You will find it and it is cheaper than the stealership. like 3$ for a pack of 5 Quote
y2kbanshee9187 Posted September 17, 2005 Author Report Posted September 17, 2005 Thanks guys, I found them on mcmaster.com. Anybody know off hand what size that nut is. I dont have the shee with me. Thanks Ben Quote
Bansh88 Posted September 18, 2005 Report Posted September 18, 2005 Where the hell do you live?! No dealers? I'd call a shop and have them order them. OR, put this in the "wanted" forum. Someone has these layin around. Quote
y2kbanshee9187 Posted September 19, 2005 Author Report Posted September 19, 2005 I am going to school in Athens Ohio right now. There are no Yamaha dealers around here. If I find out the size I can order one off of the internet. There is a dealer back where I live but by the time I get back there on the weekend, if I go back, it will probly be closed. If anybody knows the size then I can order the nut off of the internet. Ben Quote
MonkeyBoy Posted September 19, 2005 Report Posted September 19, 2005 You title a thread "Get a Nut" and it about your quad? Go to th hottest girl in school and tell her about that thing you can do with your tongue. Then you'll get a nut. Quote
