Bansh88 Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 Hopefully tomorrow, for sure by Thursday, i'm going to Alba to buy my 06 Special Edition. I already have a grocery list of aftermarket for it. I hope to be able to get some REAL discounts on them. What would you guys want on a brand new bike? Maybe you can think of stuff I forgot. Realistic stuff. Not huge engine work or anything. I cant fuckin wait to get it! Quote

DUNEDEMON Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 Bansh, if it were me I'd start with the following: -Pipes (T5's are a great choice for a stock engine and respond well to future modifications) -Lose the OEM air filter setup immediately and replace it with the brand / style of your choice. -Obviously you'll need to re-jet the carbs, might as well lose the TORS shit while you're there. -Front shocks set up specifically for your weight, terrain of choice, and riding style, hell some +2+1 A arms while you're at it. -Another set of IMS pegs, or just swap them of your current bike. -A comfortable set of handle bars, and while you're at it lose the e-brake and get a new EZ pull clutch lever. -Lighting upgrade for the night rides. -8 paddles & a clickwhip. You can probably take it from here, but this is where I would start. Good luck, keep us posted, and congratulations! Quote

Bansh88 Posted September 14, 2005 Author Report Posted September 14, 2005 yup! My list. I don't think i'll be leaving with all of it. T5s Trinity 2 into 1 V force Paddles and Razors Trail Techs IMS pegs 6 pack rack T2s and clamp Smaller stuff: Rad light for rear Clutch perch I plan on getting fullbores from a guy I know. All the above mods I have on my Banshee now. Except for T5s. I have FMF. +4 swingarm commin later. If the guy can make sweet deal on some suspension, I might go for it. But that is $$$$ Quote
