FOXBANSHEE30 Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 I'm about to get a Noss Head w/ 20cc domes, a lightened flywheel (boonman), and an Adj, Stator Plate at +4 degrees. The rest of my mods are below. Will i have to jet up or down to make all these new parts all work as well as they should? I do have a SINGLE CARB with the Trinity 2 into 1. Thanks for the help. Virtualbat Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 i dont thing you would have to rejet. but you will prolly need to run higher octane gas. Quote
Dunsmoor86 Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 No you won't have to rejet, and if your elevation is above 700ft or so you don't have to run race gas. Quote
Banshee~ Posted September 4, 2005 Report Posted September 4, 2005 (edited) No you won't have to rejet, and if your elevation is above 700ft or so you don't have to run race gas. 410970[/snapback] You might have to go up a size on the mains for the timing advance. If you are under 1000ft I would think you would have to run a mix. EDIT: I reread the post and saw that you had a 2-1 carb, so you might have to go up more than one size on the main jet. 2003LimitedBanshee Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 I would also think you may want to try going up a little on the main, mainly due to the timing advance. In theory the dome on the head should only change the need to run a mix of race gas, if at all, as everyone has said, depending on elevation. But several others that I have talked to liked a little more main after the timing advance. Quote
