Castrol two stroke oil ?

Today when I was at Walmart I noticed Castrol came out with a two stroke motorcycle oil.Has anybody tried it yet or does anybody have any info on it ? Only a little over $2.00 a quart.

my buddy bought some of that....two weeks later he blew his lower and top end...i think its garbage....imho

I used that shit for years in bikes and never had one problem with a motor, and know people who still use it. I'm bettin your buddies bike woulda blown up no matter what oil he was using. Gotta place the blame somewhere I guess.

Castrol has made 2 stroke oil since the 70's. I used to run it as a kid, and believe

me, I was not gentle by any means on an engine (still not). I never had any oil related problems.

I use castrol tts, it seems to be fine. I have been using it for a few years and never had a problem.

Castrol is fine if your not running your shee in extreme condition, drag or mx or anything. Even if you were you won't have any problems, just then it would be better to run with something a little better like amsoil or ipone. Guys will try to blame bike problems on anything, rider error or not doing proper maintenance is usually to blame, not a type of oil. Thats like saying switching from ngk plugs to the champion equivalent would blow your motor, thats just stupid... lol

I've been using Castrol 2 stroke oil in my Banshee since 1988, works great. I have never had a top end problem or lost a crank.
