I have a ported motor, with cpi in frames, 35 mm carbs, with a 158 main, and a 45 pilot, and 2 turns out, and off the line, Ill hit it, it will come on hard, then bog then it will hit really hard again?? Do you think im to lean on the pilot, I had a 48 pilot in there and it smoked it ass off at idle, so it seemed to be too rich on idle..so I changed to a 45..??

sounds to me you need to check your needle clip position.

did it do this before you changed your pilot?

i am also in missouri and with the bike in my sig i have 145 mains with 40 pilots, and the needle is in the top position.

find out what needle you have in your 35 and then we can go from there. youmight have a leaner needle adn need to adjust or a really rich one there are many to choose from.

need that info for some help

sounds to me like you might be too fat on your main. sounds like your needle is right, and as you the needle moves all the way out of the main, you're getting too much fuel, so it bogs, but is able to come out of it.

moving one clip higher on your needle might help ya out too
