ReDEyE Posted August 14, 2005 Report Posted August 14, 2005 Just like to say that I usually read everything before I ask a question and I know how good you guys are at answering questions. Also that I now know how addictng it is to keep getting new mods for the banshee. I have only had it a short time and I cant stop working on it. Its just too much fun and way oo addicting. Anyway back to my question, I have so far installed a k&N filter with the pro flow system, air lid off, Toomey pipes and silencers, Vforce 3 reeds and jet kit. I had to change the front fender because it was cut and the rear caliper since the guy I bought it from got water in it some how and i had to change the piston assy and got the ebrake block off. I was just wondering what my next mod should be? Should I upgrade the suspension, I was reading about the yfz450 front shocks but wasnt sure what I should use for the rear shock. Also I was thinking about getting the trinity 2 into 1 carb or some other larger carbs next. Just wondering what you guys think I should do. I mostly ride trails. Also in trying to get the most bang for my buck but Im not looking to make my banshee race ready so I dont want to spend 1000s on a suspension. Quote
NYCBanshee7 Posted August 14, 2005 Report Posted August 14, 2005 I would go with the front suspension. I have the YFZ Shocks w/+2+1 a-arms and they are a huge improvement over stock. I would also think about a NOSS head to get some more low end power. Quote
Bansh88 Posted August 14, 2005 Report Posted August 14, 2005 Probably stick with the stock arms if you ride trails. Sometimes those trails get tight. New shocks would be sweet. Revalve the rear. Best mod I have done so far that ACTUALLY MADE A BIG, NOTICEABLE difference is lights. A set of Trail Techs completely improved my night riding! I can't imagine a new stator and 4 lights. must be awesome Quote
ReDEyE Posted August 15, 2005 Author Report Posted August 15, 2005 (edited) forgot to add that I advanced the timing +4. i was thinking of getting the yfz shocks and keeping the stock a arms. If i get the noss head, what domes should I get to keep it on pump gas? Also if I do get the noss head and domes do I have to get bigger carbs to get the most out of them? Thanks for the info! Dunsmoor86 Posted August 15, 2005 Report Posted August 15, 2005 You do not need bigger carbs. What elev. are you at? Most likely you will be fine for sure with 21cc domes. Quote
