I have a 95 Banshee with no tors, key unhooked, kill switch unhooked, only a tether which i have already unhooked after the prob. Coil works fine on my friends banshee and Stator has 18.5 Ohms (Red/Green), and 117.2 Ohms (GreenWhite/RedWhite). Timing key is fine. Im thinking CDI but with the price of it and no oine offering returns I dont want to chance it. Need some Input Thanks

it wasn't clear to me in your post, but your bike has run since all of the electrical changes?

 

unhooking your keyswitch will make it not run. you have to bypass it by shorting a couple of wires together. I'm not certain about the kill switch, but it may be the same case.

My bet is that it's either the CDI black box, or a bad connection somewhere. My Banshee and a friends both died (on the same ride) when our coil wires came loose. On the previous trip his bike had suddenly died (unknown reason at the time) so we had switched out just about everything electrical between the two bikes in an attempt to find out what was wrong with his. When nothing worked we figured it was the CDI. This was confirmed when he got home.

 

The very next trip both bikes died within minutes of each other. After we got back we found that both of our coil wires had come loose. banghead We found out the hard way that the connections get loose after being removed and did a quick crimp job on the connectors and away we went.
