i'm sure somebody else has had those 2 stud washer plates that you fold over the nut to hold it on go bad before too. any other tricks to use besides a lockwasher, a cotter pin, or just plain getting new ones?? :shrugani:

i don't know if you want to go this far,,, but,, this is what i plan on doing when i change out my sprocket, i did it on my warrior, haven't had to change it on my banshee or yfz yet...

get some stainless steel nuts with the hole in it, then get some safty wire and tie them together,, i used to work on F-18'S in the navy and they had us safty wire most nuts and bolts....

all you have to do is wire them together,,, you can do two and then two,, or you can tie all of them in a row. up to you..

let me know if you need any tips or know how on how to do it..

safety wire is the perfect solution for that application.

but personally id use nylocks. but be careful, a nylock is only good for about 3-5 uses. after that the nylon locking matrerial is pretty well shot and its basically is just a jam nut.

come to think of it, jam nuts would work pretty well also.

well, that's what i was hoping to hear. just some lockwashers with no problems. nylocks sound good too. not sure if i wanna go with the safety wire. i'd like to keep it as clean and simple as possible. thanks guys.
