mall0y Posted August 11, 2005 Report Posted August 11, 2005 (edited) Hey, I just bought a used set of Bills pipes and I was wondering if anyone could help me with my jetting. I dont have any motor mods besides a Proflow air filter, everything else (motor wise) is stock. So, could anyone help me re-jet correctly. I have never dealt with jetting, so as for jet sizes I have no clue what to use. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Edit: I just found this on the Bills Pipes website: MAIN 300 PILOT 32.5 NEEDLE DYNO JET KIT WHITE BROS. PART# 19-4320 Does that sound right to anyone? Edited August 11, 2005 by mall0y Quote
dbkid13 Posted August 11, 2005 Report Posted August 11, 2005 IF that was on the website it is probably right, however seeems a little rich to me. The pilot also seems a little bit since all you have is pipes but I would start there since it is recommend here is an awcome site on jetting made by someone on this site http://www.dfn.com/agservices/jetfaq.html. I have the toomey t-5s and a foam filter and I am running 280's and 27.5. Make sure that you post your elevatioin and temp that you usually ride in and someone will help you. -------Sam Quote
Banshee~ Posted August 11, 2005 Report Posted August 11, 2005 Is your airbox lid or snorkel off? Whats your elevation and temp? Quote
mall0y Posted August 12, 2005 Author Report Posted August 12, 2005 Thanks dbkid13, i'll check out that site. As for my elevation im around 700ft above sea level and the avarage temps in the summer time are around mid 80's to mid 90's. I dont have my airbox lid off and the airbox doesnt have any holes drilled in it or anything... Quote

wesw Posted August 17, 2005 Report Posted August 17, 2005 stock pilots, 4th clip, 310- 330 roughly should be close or some 27.5 pilots but doubt you need them Quote
mall0y Posted August 17, 2005 Author Report Posted August 17, 2005 (edited) Alright, well I appreciate the help from everyone but you guys told me 2 completley different setups. This is fine, I really do appreciate the help, but I just want to make sure that I get it right the first time. So out of the two what would be better....
