Dead Op Posted August 11, 2005 Report Posted August 11, 2005 Ok I am thinking about buy rear turf tamers, Anyone have these? Are they good? How do they wear? I need to know how to cut them does anyone know how to, any designs, what tools do I need you know that stuff... Quote
trex banshee Posted August 11, 2005 Report Posted August 11, 2005 i run turf tamers on the back of my banshee they are not cut and wear really well they seem to hook up pretty good on loose dirt as well as grass. Quote
sg30721 Posted August 11, 2005 Report Posted August 11, 2005 I have turf tamers on the back of my Banshee and 250R... they are the best tires you can buy in my opinion and are fairly cheap. I raced alot of Motorcross Nationals over a 5 year period on one set and they still had tread left. Mine were cut... I bought them from NACS, I just checked their website for you and they still charge $10 per tire for custom "Grooving" Quote
wesw Posted August 11, 2005 Report Posted August 11, 2005 i seen some that cut 2 rows out and then leave 3 rows, stuff like that. Quote

sg30721 Posted August 11, 2005 Report Posted August 11, 2005 If I had the grooved ones still I would take a pic of them and post but I got new Turf Tamers put on a motorcycle shop a few months ago and they didnt get me old tires back. I didnt get the grooved tires this time only because I needed them fast and it takes a little longer time to get the grooved tires. I will look through all my past pictures and see if any show the tire pattern... Quote
BansheeBoy17 Posted August 12, 2005 Report Posted August 12, 2005 (edited) I run these grooved tamers with a negative 2 swingarm... holy on for your life I've almost lost it like 10 times since rebuild Edited August 12, 2005 by BansheeBoy17 Quote
