Himay Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 96 shee' stock carbs, still have the TORS, they have been re-jetted to work with T-5's and K&Ns. Here is the problem with the Quad running the left carb will drip gas out of the bottom tube the one that is supposed to be a drain for the carb from what I understand. Once I start riding then i get gas coming from the bottom line on both carbs.... Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but when I first start her up, the left side smokes considerably more and longer till its fully warmed up and then neither one smokes Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Gotta get this fixed so my swingarm will stop getting coated in gas/sand Quote

Himay Posted August 8, 2005 Author Report Posted August 8, 2005 So should I check the both of them, or just the left? Also is it normal to have gas come out of the two tubes on the sides of the carb during riding? Quote
Otis Posted August 8, 2005 Report Posted August 8, 2005 if it is a stuck float, just tap on the out side of the float bowl with a the handle end of a screwdriver a few times. That should knock it loose. Quote
Shee-Male Posted August 8, 2005 Report Posted August 8, 2005 There might be a peice of crap in the needle and seat, pull it apart and flush them out. Quote
